The chronology shows Kowa evolving from a trading company into a warehouse, factory, and large-scale plastics processing operator.

  1. 1993

    Foundation

    Established Kowa Trade and Commerce (Limited Company).

  2. 1994

    Corporate reorganization

    Increased capital to 10 million yen and reorganized into Kowa Trade and Commerce Co., Ltd. to handle the import and export of plastic materials.

  3. 2003

    Gunma Distribution Center

    Opened and commenced operations at the Gunma Distribution Center as a base for the Northern Kanto region.

  4. 2005

    Fuji Distribution Center

    Opened and commenced operations at the Fuji Distribution Center as a base for the Tokai region.

  5. 2007

    Gunma factory and G.P. Polymer Co.,LTD

    Purchased a factory and logistics warehouse in Isesaki City, Gunma Prefecture, and established G.P. Polymer Co.,LTD.

  6. 2015

    Capital expansion

    Increased capital to 50 million yen.

  7. 2016

    Gunma processing factory

    Completed construction of the Gunma Processing Factory and introduced the first large-scale crushing and shredding machine.
